Fox News Channel has finally acknowledged that it is neither fair nor balanced.
The cable news channel has dropped its famed — and much mocked — marketing slogan, “Fair & Balanced.”
In its place, the network will push its, until now, less used moniker, “Most Trusted, Most Watched,” New York Magazine first reported.
Executives at Fox said that the slogan, cooked up by disgraced and now deceased founder Roger Ailes, is too closely associated with the once powerful media executive.
The new slogan is actually true: Fox News has long been the most watched cable news network for more than a decade.

In terms of trust, a January Rasmussen Reports study found that 42 percent of those asked trust and prefer Fox above its rivals, CNN and MSNBC.
The decision was first made in August after Ailes was pushed out of the company under a cloud of sexual harassment allegations and lawsuits.
Ailes, 77, died last month, still seething about losing control of the network he had built with media mogul Rupert Murdoch.
