That was fast.

Greta Van Susteren has left MSNBC after just six months.

The former Fox News Channel host tweeted Thursday that she had left the network.

“I am out at MSNBC,” she wrote simply, declining to elaborate or say if she had resigned or been fired.

She joined the cable news network in January.

Sources at the network suggested that Van Susteren’s 6 p.m. show had been struggling with low ratings — even as colleagues, like Rachel Maddow, have been experiencing the best ratings of their careers following President Trump’s election.

Ari Melber, MSNBC chief legal correspondent, and the host of the “The Point” on weekends, will take over the timeslot starting next month, according to an internal memo to staffers from MSNBC boss Phil Griffin.

He wrote that, effective immediately, the cable channel will feature a rotation of anchors to cover the 6 p.m. hour.

“MSNBC and Greta Van Susteren have decided to part ways,” Griffin wrote.

“Greta is a well-regarded television veteran and one of only a few broadcasters who can say they’ve hosted shows at all three major cable news networks. We are grateful to her and wish her the best.”

Susteren had launched her new MSNBC show, “On the Record,” on Jan. 9.

“Remember me?” she said to open the show.

The seasoned broadcaster and former host of “On the Record,” landed at MSNBC as if plucked by an occult hand after abruptly pulling the plug on a 14-year run at Fox News last September.

At the time, sources said her exit was the result of a contentious contract dispute with the right-leaning cable news network.

Susteren — herself no stranger to controversy — was among a handful of Fox News hosts last year who had publicly defended the channel’s founder Roger Ailes after he’d been accused of sexual harassment.

Susteren later said that she had regretted doubting his accusers following Ailes’ ouster last summer.

At the time, she posted on Facebook that Fox “has not felt like home to me for a few years,” but that she hoped “to continue my career in broadcasting.”

Van Susteren was one of two high-profile Fox News anchors to recently join NBC News.

Megyn Kelly, also a former Fox News star, has also been fighting weak ratings lately as her NBC show, “Sunday Night,” has struggled to attract viewers.

Earlier this month, Kelly caused an uproar for her interview with conspircy theorist and InfoWars founder Alex Jones.

In the end, the program was seen by 3.5 million viewers — ratings dwarfed by CBS rival “60 Minutes,” which aired a rerun that drew 5.3 million viewers.
